Kan Zaman is a testament to Mediterranean food! I popped in on a Monday afternoon to a still lobby and suddenly a man appeared behind the counter. The gentleman was friendly and beamed with pride to list off the menu. I selected the gyro and a diet coke. My order was prepared timely and pricing was extremely reasonable. My gyro was divine! The pita was soft and warm and the meat flavorful topped with FRESH additions like lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. The creamy tzatziki was the glue that held the delicious meal together. I will definitely be back to have a go at their other menu options.
Love the chicken plate here! Salad, hummus, rice, and chicken topped with a garlic sauce. Customer Service is great and highly recommend. Everything is made to order so it does take a little bit longer but still worth it.

8/11/23 Getting lunch! Couldn't find. Called in and owner was very nice and happy to make a geikrr plate. After having issues finding it, he directed me. Across the street from the given Yelp address. By the liquor store. Not like the pictures. The nice worker said they've been there 6 months now. Luckily, when talking to him I ordered the kebab plate and he was happy to make it. When I found it, the worker got my attention and I paid for the order. He had it ready and was very kind! Definitely a different, but nice lounge area. Decided to take it home since there wasn't a bar like I thought. Lunchtime! Everything looked delicious! It was! Delicious chicken kebab in the fresh pita with rice pilaf & garlic sauce! Really flavorful! Chicken and hummus had really nice seasoning! Great garlic sauce too! Good service and Great, delicious lunch! Highly recommended!
Tried this place for lunch on a Sunday. It may be mostly hookah lounge but the food is delicious. I didn't go into the hookah lounge part, the door to the small restaurant side was open when I arrived so I went right in and was greeted immediately. The menu isn't large but that's fine. I placed my order : chicken bowl, chicken plate, and lamb kebab plate. I was told it would be about 20 minutes so I left to take care of a nearby errand. I know some would be put off by that kind of wait but when you're getting good quality food, it's usually worth it. And this was - I could go on and on about the rice pilaf. I'm thinking it had a little saffron or some other delicious spice, I honestly stuffed myself too much because I wanted to eat alllll my rice. The chicken was moist and delicious as well. The lamb was good but I preferred the chicken. I also like the way the food was presented. And I appreciated that they put a little vinaigrette under the salad so it wasn't soggy by the time I got home; it was still crisp and fresh. I prefer garlic sauce to be a little thinner but it was still good. And a spicy sauce was added that provided a good heat. I would definitely recommend this place for food.
After a long day river rafting on the Kern River, we stopped for the night nearby. This resturant was one of the few still open late in the evening. What a surprise. I had never been in a Hookah Lounge, and that was a site to see. However, we were all hungry, and the owner made us feel welcome. The dishes were delishish. Great meal, good prices.
Sooooo much deliciousness packed into a Togo box. The chicken kabob plate was soooooo good. It's the garlic sauce that makes it. My favorite place to get middle eastern food. You have to try it. Definitely recommend. Highly recommend.
Omg most amazing Mediterranean food ever! This has become an instant favorite of my family! Food was great and flavor full! We had yalanchi, and a kabab combo plate! The rice was so yummy loved the garlic flavor. My favorite though was the lula kabab and the chicken kabab. I tried my first peach barbican malt beverage and it was light and bubbly! I will definitely come back again! Prices were reasonable!
